SaturdayReads-WhatWouldGwynethDo

Have you guys heard about The Whole30? The women at my beloved Dailey Method studio held the challenge for members in January but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. This post may have finally (almost) convinced me to give it a go. Maybe. If you’ve done it, please share your thoughts in the comments!

18 Things Highly Creative People Do Differently

Top beauty trends from the Fall 2014 European shows (and I love the format of this piece).

10 Things You Should Never Say to Your Kids. Oops.

This super chic maternity line almost makes me want to go for number three.

8 Ways to Feel Better About Your Body Right This Minute. And none of them involve skipping carbs.

Speaking of carbs, the blogger behind my favorite homemade pizza crust recipe has tweaked it a little and the results are here. I find it hard to imagine improving on the former version, but I trust her, so let’s roll with it. Pun intended.

Have a great weekend, friends! Buy yourself some flowers.

I can’t wait to read that 8 Ways to Feel Better link if it means I don’t have to give up carbs. Thanks for including my pizza link in your post, too. Have a lovely weekend!

I’ve done Whole30 twice now! I think you should absolutely do it, at least once. You will feel so incredible and empowered at the end, not to mention your body will feel AWESOME. Lean, mean health machine.

Good luck! It helps that there are tons of paleo blogs and whole30 approved recipes out there to keep you on track. Get ready to do a ton of prep work!

I completed the Whole30 over a year ago. Besides looking great, I felt amazing! I do wish that I had reintroduced the eliminated foods differently (I shocked my body by adding too much back at once), but aside from that, I found it extremely beneficial. Several months later, I am aware of what foods I can/cannot consume and have learned about the ways in which these foods affect my body, from the inside out.

As Katherine notes, there are a ton of great online resources for taking the Whole30 challenge. Check out my blog for some great Whole30-approved recipes! Good luck!

Thank you for the feedback! Yes, I have a feeling there are a few things irritating me in various ways – I guess I am just scared to have to give them up 😉

I’ve done two whole30’s and they are AWESOME! Love them! It’s really not hard at all once you get the hang of it and plan for the prep time it requires.

BTW…I started Daily Method in January and I am LOVING it!

Thank you for the feedback! I have been doing a lot of reading on it and I have to say, it’s intimidating. Glad to hear it worked for you – I sort of felt the same way when I started TDM and now I am hooked, so there’s that… 😉
