Making My Monday

I am kind of into this Monday. It’s just a regular little Monday. No travel on the horizon. No insane deadline looming over my head. No super daunting tasks at hand.

Just a regular little Monday.

I hope it stays that way. Sometimes regular is just what the doctor ordered.

Here are a few things I am looking forward to in the week ahead, the things “Making My Monday“:

A surprise long weekend! Well a surprise to me, at least…as far as I am concerned, it’s still March. So to find out this morning that Memorial Day is just days away felt like a little gift from the calendar gods.

I am headed to LA on Thursday for some meetings. It has been a few weeks since I have been up there (I have been in NYC more in the past month than in LA) so am looking forward to a switch up from the suburban routine.

I am planning to get back to The Dailey Method this week. I have been on a forced hiatus for close to a month due to some health issues and while you would think I would have embraced the break, I actually missed my workout so much. Screen shot that sentence to prove I wrote it. I have definitely felt the effects – both physical and mental – of not breaking a sweat on the regular so I am excited to have Sam and Shelie and the girls kick my butt again. And I have no doubt it will be thoroughly kicked.

A long overdue pedicure. I am usually pretty good about finding some time every month or so for a proper mani/pedi but things have been so hectic lately, I have only been able to slip in for a polish change on my hands before a work function. I am going to find some time this week to go in and really indulge. essie’s Bikini So Teeny is my go-to Summer shade.

Peony season. These blooms are some of my favorites and now that they are in abundance, I am filling the house with them and their instant dose of pretty. Photo above in my living room this morning.

Have a lovely Monday ~

Obsessed with Peonies!! So if I get married, May might be the month to do it if these gorgeous flowers are in bloom.
