What I Am Loving…Right Now

WhatWouldGwynethDo-MarchMustHaves

Here is a look at my must-haves from the month of March – in case you are looking for some retail therapy for the new season:

(clockwise from top left)

ThisĀ Kiehl’s olive fruit oil conditioner is like therapy for my dried out, exhausted mane. It is rich and lightly scented and leaves your hair feeling oh so soft and shiny, you just want to touch it all day long. Need to try the shampoo next.

Little D needs a bathing suit that is fashionable (looks cute) and functional (stays on when she is diving for toys in the deep end) and this J. Crew heart tank is it for this season.

I am loving almost everything from Minnie & Emma these days but these cheeky chic thank you notes top my list. There is simply nothing like sending and receiving a handwritten thank you note, end of story.

When I went to this event for The Honest Life last week, Jessica Alba claimed the company’s body oil as her current favorite product. I see why. I have been using it on my littles for a week now and it is simply amazing. It’s lightly scented, doesn’t feel greasy and literally cleared up the dry skin that has plagued Little D’s hands for months now…overnight. And it’s all natural so I feel good about slathering it on. It may just be my very favorite new find of the moment.

I have been intimidated by the leggings look for a long time now because I have hips and curves and they don’t beg for skintight anything. But these Splendid leggings have me sitting pretty. The foldover waist band lets you enjoy a little modesty while still giving you the look of a traditional legging.

Now that you all know about my candle obsession, I am excited to show off the newest addition to my collection. These DayNa Decker candles are absolutely stunning (I have the tuberose musk) and their signature EcoWood wicks burn cleaner than a standard wick, which I love.

I first grabbed a few of these That’s It fruit bars for my kids when I ran into a Coffee Bean one day and now we are hooked. They contain fruit. That’s it. Literally. And my kids eat them up.

I feel like The Wet Brush is the new Moroccan Oil or something. I had heard whispers of how amazing it is everywhere from online to The Drybar and now I know why. This brush pulls through my thick, half curly, always knotted hair like it’s not even trying. I was promised it would also work miracles on Little D’s semi-dreadlocked after bath locks…and it sort of does, but needs help from a hefty dose of detangler. But it’s definitely a win for mama.

Finally, my cleanser du jour. I love a nice, mild cleanser I can use morning and night without stripping or irritating my skin and this Mario Badescu enzyme cleanser is my favorite right now. It’s lightly scented, soft, silky and affordable and my skin has really taken to it over the past few months, looking and feeling its absolute best.
