Home Is Where…
We just booked a semi last-minute trip home to Montreal in June.
You may know the city for Céline Dion, bagels and never-ending winters…
I know it for so much more.
I know it as home.
I know it for quaint little cafés that come to life with smoking, chatting, singing people.
I know it for quiet residential streets in the heart of the city.
I know it for wide open green spaces.
I know it for crowded city buses. I know it for over-heated metro cars.
I know it for friends and family. I know it for laughs and adventures. I know it for memories.
I know it for food. I know it for wine. I know it for late-night dinners.
I know it for early morning cocktails.
I know it for waiters who refuse to speak English to me.
I know it for women who truly embody a je ne sais quoi vibe.
I know it for frustrating, never-ending mazes of one-way streets.
I know it for a bike culture like no other.
And of course, I know it for the bagels…
See you soon, my sweet city.
Here are some of my favorite places to eat, drink, sweet and shop in Montreal.
