I take a lot of pride in the design of my kids’ rooms but unfortunately cannot seem to find the perfect camera angle that does either space justice, so thought I would share some of the fun elements that make up Kai’s (now 13 months old) little corner of our casa.
We didn’t find out his gender in advance so it has been an ongoing design project since he was about three months old – when I finally found some energy to tackle it – and probably won’t really be finished until he is old enough to fight back and want Toy Story everywhere.
But for now, it’s aqua and orange, modern and clean, simple and perfect, like Kai.

I'm Raluca and this little space is where I share the people, places and things that inspire my life as a modern-day working mom of two. My favorite finds, bits of inspiration and tips for (almost) effortless living. Essays on motherhood and more now live on What Would Raluca Do.com. Thank you for stopping by!
Because beyond all the GOOP, I believe there is a woman there who is doing her best. Who believes in being a good mother, a driven career woman, a supportive friend and an inspiring creative thinker -- unapologetically. And I believe that we should all find that someone who inspires us and entertains us and teaches us how to cook. Someone who reminds us that it's important to take care of ourselves. Someone who shares her best-kept secrets. And someone who helps us see beyond the day-to-day once in a while. Because the view can be pretty spectacular.

I love every single piece. I know what you mean about wanting to show an actual room photo, but you just can’t compose it the right way. This post definitely gives me a good visual.
PS~Just say no to Toy Story everywhere. My son gets one Lego poster. I’m so mean! 😉
