A clean desk and a lit candle, preferably one with a light scent, and preferably vanilla or something in that vein, gives my insane Monday workload an added little glow.

Because beyond all the GOOP, I believe there is a woman there who is doing her best. Who believes in being a good mother, a driven career woman, a supportive friend and an inspiring creative thinker -- unapologetically. And I believe that we should all find that someone who inspires us and entertains us and teaches us how to cook. Someone who reminds us that it's important to take care of ourselves. Someone who shares her best-kept secrets. And someone who helps us see beyond the day-to-day once in a while. Because the view can be pretty spectacular.
Hello…found your blog through Lula Honey and I am loving it! I need a candle at all times, but I like to switch them out by the seasons. Right now I am using a lemon blosson one from Pacifica. Can’t wait to read more….
