A New Year Without Resolution
Happy New Year!
We spent the past five days holed up in a cozy condo in snowy Breckenridge, Colorado. And I do mean snowy. We couldn’t have written a better script for our little getaway: an impossibly charming mountain town, snow that kept pouring down from the skies above, kids who were literally giggling with pure glee at their (very) new surroundings, and the four of us, counting down on New Year’s Eve (celebrating east coast time, obviously) and tucking 2013 away to bed with hopeful hearts.
I don’t have a “New Year, New You” kind of post in mind today.
I am going to look to 2014 as a whole year of evolution and growth and curiosity and experimentation.
I don’t know if it will be my year. I don’t know if I will do everything I set out to do. I don’t know if I will make many changes at all, really. Or if I even want to.
But I know I will appreciate it, regardless of what comes my way.
And I hope you will, too.
Thank you, as always, for finding time in your busy lives to stop in and say hello. It means so very much to me.
Wishing you all the best for 2014!
