I have been finding the best fresh flowers lately.

They are all over the house, making it pretty one corner at a time.

This little guy has been amazing and impossible at the same time.

Sigh. The terror of being two.

He is growing so fast and you can practically see the development evolve hour by hour – new words, new goals, new physical feats.

But he’s also exercising his right to be stubborn, frustrated and emotional an awful lot these days.

Sigh. The terror of being a two year old’s mama.

I have been nothing less than a beauty junkie lately and am newly obsessed with the Burt’s Bees lip gloss collection (gifted).

The colors are subtle, which is great for everyday use, but what I really love is how soft (and never sticky!) they leave my lips.

They really truly feel like a little beauty luxury, without the luxury price.

I bought this new bowl and it brings me so much joy.

I was on the fence about it and held it in my cart for 30 minutes or so before committing to it and I am so glad I did.

It just fits.

Don’t you love it when that happens?

This one only cares about practicing her cartwheels these days.

We enrolled her in gymnastics last year and she hated it.

But here we are a year later.

Always upside down.

The two of them have really bonded this summer, as they have spent a lot of time together.

Sometimes it’s great, sometimes it’s not.

Sometimes they are cuddled up together, and sometimes there is crying and yelling.

I grew up with a sister and my husband grew up with brothers so we often worried about what a brother/sister dynamic would be like for these two.

This summer has set my mind at ease.

They are going to be best friends, I just know it.

LOVE Burt’s Beas lipgloss, possibly the best ever! That bowl rocks. And your kids are just beautiful, lucky mama!
