A Blue Moment
I was already planning a post about my affinity for all things blue for Fall and then I saw the quote above and clearly it was a sign to stop everything and start talking sapphire:
This deep blue polish from Zoya is sophisticated and sparkly – always a nice combo.
I love the look of this lace skirt from Cacharel. A sharp alternative to your standard black pencil skirt.
Forget blue suede shoes. I am thinking a blue velvet blazer is where it’s at.
The new cobalt eyeliners from Stila are easily my favorite make up find for Fall.
Even on brown-eyed girls like me, these blue liners make eyes pop with just a hint of punk.
Cover of British Vogue, 1945. Always in style.
A flat, like this classic Tory Burch Chelsea style, is an easy way to incorporate a pop of color without feeling saturated.
And finally, a bag. You always need a bag. Why not make it Clare Vivier? And cobalt, of course.

I also love blue! Navy is a main staple for me as I think it’s a little more fun than basic black, but still so versatile & classic! Loving that blue velvet blazer!!
I’ve wanted to try blue nails since seeing them on Cup of Jo last year, but I always chicken out and reach for the pink instead. Do you think they’re adult enough to pass muster in a law office? (If it matters, I’m 27).
Absolutely. But I would stay away from a glittery pick like this one. I use Butter London’s Royal Navy if I want a more polished looking blue. It’s dark, but if your manicure is neat and short, it can look perfectly professional. Let me know if you try it!
Great color! And loving those Tory Burch’s – they would look fab with white pants!
Blue is my absolute favorite color! If I could wear blue every single day, I would. (I just don’t think I own enough blue pieces) I love the skirt and the bag! Those Tory Burch shoes are also super cute!
