Target x FEED USA

TargetandFEEDUSA_WhatWouldGwynethDoI have long admired Lauren Bush’s FEED initiative which helps to raise funds and awareness for feeding programs for hungry children around the world through the sale of FEED adorned products (she started with burlap bags). Now she has partnered with Target (of course) to promote FEED USA, a program that will focus on food and nutrition funding for kids and families right here in America. The collection, launching June 30, features housewares and accessories and every piece is equal to a specific number of meals for people in need. I have been a little tired of the Target collaborations of late, but this is one I hope to see sell out on day one. Here are my favorite picks: (above) Messenger bag and denim tote; each $30, each worth 24 meals.

Love this stuff. Super simple and classic, not to mention the cause. Thanks for featuring as a reminder for me to hit up Target this weekend! Hopefully it’s in store and not just offered online.

My concern about these products is that they are Made OUTSIDE THE USA. There is such an outcry regarding overseas sweatshops I would not be comfortable buying. I did notsee all the products, but did check a number of them. They were made in China.
