Target x FEED USA
I have long admired Lauren Bush’s FEED initiative which helps to raise funds and awareness for feeding programs for hungry children around the world through the sale of FEED adorned products (she started with burlap bags). Now she has partnered with Target (of course) to promote FEED USA, a program that will focus on food and nutrition funding for kids and families right here in America. The collection, launching June 30, features housewares and accessories and every piece is equal to a specific number of meals for people in need. I have been a little tired of the Target collaborations of late, but this is one I hope to see sell out on day one. Here are my favorite picks: (above) Messenger bag and denim tote; each $30, each worth 24 meals.
Throw; $30, worth 24 meals
Apron; $16, worth 12 meals
Two pack snack pouches (how great for back to school); $8, worth 3 meals
Small and medium canisters; $14, worth 10 meals
Large canister: $16, worth 12 meals
Set of four appetizer plates; $10, worth 8 meals
