A Party From the Past

I was scrolling through my iPhone pictures a few days ago and realized I never shared Kai’s first birthday party pics here. It was really tough to throw a celebration days before Christmas without throwing in any red or green (and now I get to do it every year for the rest of my life, yay!) but we managed and I loved how it turned out. Hope you do, too!

(Above) The invites were done by the amazing Alexandra of Type A and extras doubled as fun table decor when folded over.

We went for an icy winter theme over the usual jingle bells and the blue tones were perfect for my little man. Snowflake cookies by Dessertville.

The lovely Erin brought my (rather specific) vision of a kids’ chocolate milk bar and balloon wall backdrop to life perfectly. The rock candy was, needless to say, a big hit.

And of course there was a fabulous cake (and personal sized mini cakes to match – also by Dessertville) to put a sweet finishing touch on a fabulous day.
