Must-Have: Patch NYC for Target

2012 September 27

I went to Target yesterday to buy diapers for Kai so obviously I was still strolling the aisles 45 minutes later with a cart filled to the brim with everything from toothpaste to Tootsie Rolls and came across the Patch NYC for Target collection in the home section.

I read about their “The Shops” concept a while back and thought it was simply genius. Combine the creative eye and curated finds of small boutiques across the country with the large-scale distribution and marketing prowess of Target?

Win, meet win.

And this collection is a winner. The pieces are charming, quirky, offbeat and give off a unique, vintage-y vibe that most things from Target…don’t.

And the real beauty is that, unlike that Missoni madness, there were actually many things in stock at my local store and even more are still available online.

My favorite finds are above. I really loved the feather coffee pot and the wood grain pillow.

Thoughts? Do you love or hate these Target collaborations?

Love It. As long as Target is actually purchasing from the stores and not just ripping them off, I think it’s a great idea for such a large company to support the smaller Mom and Pop boutiques in turn making Target a lot “cooler.”

    That is a great idea!
Also? I love owls. That black lamp is calling my name!
