Making My Monday

2012 July 23

Here are the little things I am looking forward to in the week ahead:

It’s national tequila day tomorrow! If you picture harsh shots with a salt shaker in hand when you think of tequila, think again. I have been introduced to sipping tequila in recent months through some work projects and it’s really a lovely option, even for us ladies. It goes down smooth, pairs well with food and leaves you feeling happy, not hungover.

Another “I Don’t Know How She Does It” feature tomorrow on the blog. I love the feedback this series is getting and tomorrow’s inside look with my friend Fawn of Sequins and Candy is sure to inspire.

Little D has her summer theater camp performance on Friday morning. How can you NOT be excited about a bunch of five-year-olds “transporting you to the world of ancient Africa via song and dance?”

The Glow, one of my absolute favorite destinations on the internet, has published a new feature, this time on New York-based fashion darling Maryam Nassir Zadeh. This site continues to entertain and delight with every new story they share.

I am thinking I am due for a massage. I have been really focused on working out lately, trying to eat well and with good intentions, and now it’s time to reward myself a little.

How’s that for a positive approach to Monday? Have a good week!

Wait, national tequila day? How is it possible that I didn’t know about this being an avid fan of tequila. Clearly, I need to organize an impromptu happy hour.
