What I Am Loving…Right Now
I have become quite the little product junkie these days. I don’t discriminate, it can be hair, face, skin, makeup, body…if it’s a product, I am interested.
Here are some of my latest favorites (from left to right):
Origins Ginger Gloss Smoothing Body Oil, $20. I have been a fan of Origins’ ginger line for a long time and just discovered this spray body oil. It’s light (not greasy) with the subtle ginger fragrance the brand is known for and leaves a nice sheen on legs, arms, anywhere you want to spray it.
Kiehl’s Soy Milk & Honey Body Polish, $29. I am officially a Kiehl’s devotee. I stopped by the counter to pick up a night cream (more on that below) and threw this in as an impulse buy purely based on the scent alone. Its amazing exfoliating properties were just the icing on the cake. A new must-have.
Clarisonic Mia, $119. This is a product I honestly didn’t want to love. There was simply too much hype, I wanted no part of it. But when one found its way to me on my birthday, I decided to make the leap and I am so glad I did. Not only does it look like it’s having an impact on my skin, I love the ritual. It makes me really take a few minutes each night to indulge myself and take proper care of my face. A mini beauty break in baby pink. What could be better?
Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate, $44. I told you I am addicted to this brand. This little bottle of liquid gold sits right next to the Clarisonic. It’s a lightweight, night-time serum that promises “younger-looking skin by morning.” So do I suddenly look 33 again? Not quite…but it has definitely given me a newfound glow. I also love its lavender-infused scent and the fact that it’s 99% naturally-derived and paraben-free.
Rimmel Moisture Renew Cream Lipgloss in Cherry Boost, $5.99*. I am just taking baby steps into the red lipstick pool and this creamy gloss is the perfect first approach with its sheer finish. It’s slick, has sunscreen and stays on. Enough said. *And apparently you can find it for $1 on Amazon…until you read the fine print and realize it’s an additional $4.99 for shipping. Still worth it.
