Pregnant Again…

2012 April 24
by WWGD

No, not really. Two is just fine for us…

At least, I think.

Most days.

Then they act really cute and angelic and I think…maybe three?

But that’s another blog post altogether.

For now, I want to be pregnant again for purely selfish reasons.

So I can wear Hatch.

I was not a fan of maternity clothes during either of my pregnancies. Never set foot in A Pea in the Pod, shunned the Liz Lange maternity aisle at Target…I opted for tighter-fitting t-shirts in large sizes and the belly band to keep my jeans up as long as I could.

But if I had a chance to do it all again, I would do it in Hatch.

The line was created by New York mom Ariane Goldman (you can read more about her here) and offers simple, chic, comfortable styles for the 9-month stretch and beyond.

I love everything about the collection – the aesthetic, the styling, the name…sigh.

Good thing for my husband, I love my sushi and wine even more 😉

The Jumper

The Gown

The Coat (my favorite!)

The Afternoon Dress

Is it weird if I buy that jacket as a (definitely) not pregnant woman?

No! I love it, too. Would be fab even sans bump, for sure.

Nothing was cute when I was pregnant. Not me, not the clothes. There are some days when I see the pregnant girls now and get jealous that I didn’t get a shot at the adorableness.

I think working the bump is key. But yes, it’s sort of like your wedding, you always look back with a Fashion Police eye…

Would it be acceptable to wear the jumper in photo 1 minus the baby bump and minus the belt? 😉

      Ab-so-lute-ly.

I am done (three boys), but I love these maternity clothes. Maternity wear was just starting to get stylish when I had my first baby almost 13 years ago, and it’s gotten so good!

I know! The bump is the best accessory these days…
