Making My Monday

2012 April 16
by WWGD

I have taken an unintentional break from this feature the past few weeks, but there is a lot I have taken a break from the last few weeks (ahem, talking to you exercise…) and the buck stops here.

Here are five things I am looking forward to this week:

I am an absolute product junkie lately. A $5 lipgloss, a $30 bottle of hairspray, I have my eye, and my AmEx, on anything and everything these days. So I was giddy with excitement when I read that Clinique is expanding its cult-favorite Black Honey lip gloss (which basically sums up my entire high school beauty routine in one tube) into an entire line of “Honey” esque new shades. Not necessarily new news, but news to me.

I met some wonderful women on Saturday evening at a fun, intimate gathering in a charming little home here in northern San Diego County. I look forward to pouring over all their blogs and businesses this week.

I finally jumped on the tractor wagon and picked up my first Pioneer Woman cookbook. I have a goal of trying at least two of its recipes this week.

I believe in mini breaks. We are booking one here this week for next month.

We have this queued up in the Blueray player for tonight. George Clooney. Enough said.

Happy Monday!

Gosh, I’ve got Palm Springs on the brain. Need to follow your lead and plan a getaway.

I, too, am a product junkie. That is all.
