Half caf.

2011 February 8

Today’s morning schedule:

4:45am – 6:00am  – listen to Kai cry (no, he wasn’t hungry, trust me)

6:00am – 7:00am – listen to Kai cry while trying to get Little D up and at ’em

7:00am – 7:15am – breathe a sigh of relief while Kai slept. Curse out loud when he woke up 15 minutes later.

7:15am – 8:00am – pump, make breakfast for three, pass Kai back and forth like a football with darling husband.

8:01am – dare to set foot in the shower.

8:20am – wonder what that alarm-like sound is. Must be the neighbor’s house.

8:25am – mom calls wondering why ADT is calling her about our house alarm going off.

8:27am – realize both cell phones are on silent, to help Kai sleep. Ha, good one. Hence why we missed ADT’s calls.

8:30am – cops at door. Husband answers in his underwear, screaming baby in his arms.

8:40am – clean up dirty diaper. Get spat up on.

8:55am – pile Little D into car to drive to school. Don’t have gas.

9:15am – Little D safely in the school playground. Nanny arrives for Kai.

9:16am – sigh of relief. Now, to start my work day.

Yes, that's a half caf...
